Epic pitching matchup today

For only the third time in history the top two pitchers in era will pitch against each other. Cliff Lee with a .67 era squares off against Edison Volquez and his 1.12 era. Reds trying to sweep the Tribe.

Out of those 2 previous matchups, only once has a pitcher had a good outing. Derrick Lowe went 7 innings, allowing 1 run in 2002 against Glavine who allowed 5 runs in 5 IP. The previous meeting was in 98 between Irabu and Leiter. Irabu allowed 4 runs in 5.2 IP and Leiter allowed 5 in 6.1 IP.

Do you know which way the wind is blowing today? Last I saw on the weather itwas supposed to be blowing near 20 mph. And what is up with Javier playing first base? I can't remember the last time I saw him play first.

1-1 in the bottom of the 4th. Reds scored an unearned run in the first, and the Indians just scored on Dusty stupidity. Dusty decides to pitch to Blake with the pitcher on deck.

Dunn has hit his 4th homer in 4 games. That one was about 10 rows from going out! He's crushing it right now.

4-1 now in the bottom of the 5th!!

I'm hoping that will improve in time. He now leads the majors in era. Great job by Jeremy Afeldt in the 7th......... Reds need to find somebody who can pitch the 7th.
